Ellen Muth (born March 6, 1981, in Milford, Connecticut) is an American film and television actress, most famous for swimming Georgia "George" Lass on the Showtime series Dead Like Me. She is likewise the member of Mensa, a student at a Lee Strasburg School, races automobiles, and collects Burmese cats. Her awards include Better Actress at a AFI for The Young Girl and the Monsoon (1999) and better supporting actress at a Japanese Film Festival for Dolores Claiborne (1995), in which she processed her screen debut.

Muth is too known for swimming Jane in the Lifetime film The Truth About Jane (2001) in which she portrayed the immature adolescent girl world health organization lessens smitten sustaining a second girl, so discovering her homoeroticism. A film dealt primarily by owning a subsequent drama that ensues once her mother (played by Stockard Channing) discovers the "truth about Jane".
